Fan-ATTICKS!

On Sunday the boys finally were able to head to the long awaited WWE PPV Elimination chamber which was taped at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, Ca. It was planned about a month or so ago. The tickets were bought and Andrew asked his usual 50 questions... a day! As you can see from the picture to the left the "chamber" is quite intimidating. This was a big thing for Andrew. He's been into the Wrestling for maybe about the past 6 months. I don't anticipate a change in hobby anytime soon. What I probably love most about it is, Steven has always been a WWE fan, since before him and I even met some 14 years ago. We even went to a few event's. Only then it was Kurt Angle and The Rock, ironically The Rock has come back to the WWE - no complaints there, he is my favorite. What I'm getting at is Steven still watches and Loves it. It's a great bonding tool for them. Every Monday and Friday night the house shuts down for Monday Night RAW and Friday night Smackdown. I'll admit, I even watch it =) The boys left in the afternoon and did not get home until late that night. Most of Andrew's favorite guys were there. There was even speculation that The Undertake, which is Andrew's #1, was going to make his comeback, which didn't happen.

The lowering of the Chamber

Andrew plugging his ears during the Pyrotechnics

They Stayed a while and watched the chamber get taken apart

They even left in time to see some of the wrestlers leaving. Andrew even got some waves which he was happy about.

As if the WWE Elimination Chamber wasn't enough...

Steven came to me yesterday and said that they are filming Friday night Smack Down tonight
( in our home town ) Which will be the show they air Friday night we usually watch on TV. The Undertaker was also going to be making an appearance. He wanted to take the boys and I really wasn't too hot on the idea. I thought i was a little over kill. He also wanted to take Luke who also loves WWE. He's a John Cena fan. I picked up Andrew from school to a notice for an award he's getting Friday, a great spelling test, and a 27 ( which is great ) on his rocket math. It make the decision of them going that much more rewarding. An early dinner and off went the boys. Unfortunately, Steven's camera was acting up so no pics and I was greeted home at 10pm with 2 grouchy sleeping boys!

Happy ( better late than never ) Birthday, boys!

Boy, where did the year go?! Are these 2 little monsters 2 and 6? On Nov 28 Andrew turned 6 and on Dec 23rd Luke turned 2. A birthday bash was had on Dec 5 with our friends and family, and what a celebration it was! We bounced until we couldn't bounce no more! Unfortunately, Tia Andria has all the original photos from the party so I can't post any without them being blurry. But I will have an awesome hard copy photo album for the boys to remember their special day! Thanks Tia Andria for bringing your equipment , and special setting to help in capturing those hard to get moments!

Buyer Beware

I'm a little out of date on my posts so please pardon the old news. Sunday officially marks the start of my vacation, and on of the things on my "to do" list is get my blog up to date - as well as some new posts from the holiday as well.

On Thanksgiving, which was celebrated at the nlaws, we noticed that Luke has some blue stuff all over his fingers and in his mouth. We couldn't figure out what he had gotten into. It was concluded to be a marker, which appeared to be washable - whew! I washed his hands and mouth out and turned around and they were blue - Again! At this time they were snacking on some Cheetos. After a few minutes of this bugging us, we noticed that everyone who had eaten some Cheetos had blue mouths! The Cheetos were from Halloween, and were color changing!
We were cracking up! I guess this teaches you to always read the labels when buying food!

Summer treats!

Today I decided to forgo lunch... Well, not cold turkey! The boys did eat but not your traditional PB&J that's for sure! By the time Luke got up from his nap it was about 2. And lately we have been eating dinner pretty early. So, I changed and dressed Luke, threw a shirt and shorts on Andrew, loaded the car and off to McDonald's for some soft serve Ice cream. ( We stopped at Costco to top off the gas tank for The boy's Tahoe Trip tomorrow )

I got the ice cream cone, while the boys got it sundae style. Andrew watched me in panic thru the rear view mirror as I eat my rather large cone. "It's going to fall off" he was shouting. I just giggled and said, it's not going to fall off! We got home and Andrew could not wait to dig in. Luke was already diving face first into my cone as I carried him in the house. I was actually a bit full at this point and offered up to him the rest of my cone. He willingly accepted the offer! And surprised to say, he did not make as big of a mess as I thought he would. I think it was so yummy he just did not want to waste a single drop!

Another Wild play Date

I'm beginning to like Tia Andria not having to work! ( not really ) but it's surely nice to have someone with kids around the same age as mine. And really it can't get any better than it being Family! Our Cousin's, "Our Three Wild Ones", are great kids, and a blast to hang out with. Not to mention, having some adult companionship myself. It's our second play date, and I am already looking forward to a 3rd. I tell ya, with everything going on with my Mom, it's so nice just to get out in that sun and play with my munchkins. It really helps takes my mind off of things.

Once again, I was camera-less. But as always, and probably extremely selfish of me, Andria had hers handy! Perhaps I like her camera better too =) A special Thanks to you Andria, for the awesome pics you took of my boys!

Today we actually did the spray park. We didn't do it last time because it was jut a bit too cold. But today was absolutely perfect. After hanging out in the shade for the first part. We made our way over with the babies to cool off. The water was perfect! Now, this is a huge gamble for me because Luke seems to be afraid of water. Bath time is a disaster with him unless Andrew is in the tub too, which is not always and wont always be the case. But I couldn't believe it! He did not mind the water at all. I let him approach it on his terms , did not push him in or splash him. He was soaked at one point and it did not seem to bother him! Tub time this evening was a 360 as well. He got a little mad when I rinsed his hair. Hopefully with swim lessons and some summer swimming I can cure him of his water phobia!

No kids!... What?

My parents have decided to down size some. Currently we have a space issue. We need shelves, a file cabinet and space to put things to get organized. This is mainly in the office. Some may remember in December, I was supposed to be tackling this project while on vacation, it also included other things that tied in with it. Well, finally have Luke in with Andrew and the office is pretty much in shambles. Oh! And I still have not taken anything to Once Upon a child! There is stuff everywhere.

We have had tons of blessings this year, I thank god! My parents, in the process of down sizing, have decided they no longer want the 7 piece office furniture set they bought some years ago for like 2,000 ( or some rather large number ) and have decided to pass it on to us. They feel it will serve more purpose to our family, give them the room they need, and in turn we will pass on our lovely office furniture. Which suits their needs right now. Everybody wins =) I can't wait it, is so nice!

Now, if that's not enough. They are keeping not 1 but both of the kids this weekend! We are going to give it a shot! Luke is not as easy as Andrew was, so we are taking a risk here. I am going to give little man the benefit of the doubt and say he will do good. He is going to be there all day, so I think by the time night falls he will be comfortable. Wish me luck, because I agreed that if we get a midnight call, I am the one that has to go get him.

Bumbo-riffic!

This Bumbo is something else! Luke is like a new baby.. let me tell you. I think he was getting bored with the swing, floor and pack-n-play. We need to get a bouncer or something so he can get some strength in his legs to condition for walking. For now, he LOVES this Bumbo, lets see for how long.

We can play drums with the Bumbo

Hmmmm, what else can we do with this thing?

Lovin the brother!

Monkeying around!

Andrew's Pj's say it all! As the weather gets warmer we have to start getting more creative with things to do, the heat can be unbearable . And what is more fun than acting silly and playing with your babies? Luke has some tummy time, cooed and played, and Andrew ran around playing hoop and playing with his brother. Here are some shots of us monkeys:
