Stewaaaaaaaaart!
I cannot say that this is all very " Family First" appropriate. But I could not resist blogging this. If anyone watched the somewhat older Mad TV stuff you will absolutely know who Stewart is and appreciate this bloopers outtake. I do not see how he can do this and not crack a smile. If you can watch this and not crack one laugh I will give you 20.00. ~lol~

Jelly Belly Tour
A little late to post.. I have been so busy and excited with the house I have completely left out our Jelly Belly tour. I did not really take any pics , just one of Andrew with the Jelly Belly guy! It was pretty neat. Have never been before. It is something you really only do once ( to me ) but then again I would not mind smelling the parts where is smells like sugar. I did not enjoy the areas that smelled like machinery, but I made it through.
I know now why they do not charge for the tours. That gift shop is dangerous. Who knew you could spend soooo much money on Jelly Belly candy? I mean we did get a Jelly Belly machine, and the Jelly flops were 2 for 16 and the third is free.. that stuff adds up. It was a nice thing to do to make some time pass on the weekend.

Jack Skellington

Andrew has this thing with movies. He always ends up liking the ones that might be a little bit ahead for his age group. I mean really, now that I think about it, he has sort of been like that from the start.. even with toys. He never wanted the "kiddie" stuff that was age appropriate. It was never anything inappropriate.. just stuff you might not normally think to buy your 2 year old. Who knows maybe he might learn something he would not have learned until he was 4? So, as long as it was appropriate I never had a problem with it.
Back to my point.. A couple, or maybe it was even last Halloween season, Steven rented "The Nightmare before Christmas". I think the reason was Steven had never seen it and the Corps Bride was out.. or something like that. Maybe it was just to get in the whole Holiday spirit for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. None the less, we watched it and it was pretty cute. Andrew of course LOVED it. He always sings that part " What's this" I think it is when he goes into Christmas Town.
I always like to think about a month or more ahead for Halloween. Just for the simple fact that it is always hard to beat out of your kid what they want to be because they pretty much change there minds about 50 times. And if you are one of the lucky parents where your kids wants to be Spider man, a last minute costume stop might not be so bad. You might just need to go to a couple stores before getting your size. When they are 1 and 2 it is generally what you like, so as picky as Steven is , he likes the different costumes. Andrew's first year he was Dumbo. Which has been kept and will be worn by Luke =). Second year it was Darth Vader. Original, right? Third it was Little Frankenstein, which was actually a hit, We got tons of comments while Trick or Treating. And this year " drumroll please ( lol) It started with Power Ranger to a Pirate to a Pilot to a bird ( YES A BIRD! ) and then it finally settled of Mr. Jack Skellington the Pumpkin King. As I began my search for the early costume I got concerned because all I was finding was adult sizes. After about 30 min I am not sure what I typed it but I finally found it at The Disney Store. That was a huge task this weekend was getting to the mall and getting that costume before they were wiped out. 2 sizes left Horray. We have tried it on 2 times and now Mr. Jack Skellington sits in the hall closet ( glowing in the dark ) until Halloween night. Lets just hope come Halloween he still glows hehe.
Remember 9/11
I did not realize the ACTUAL date until literally 2 min before posting this.. Ironically.. This song is one of Andrew's ( so far ) all time favs.
I remember it as if it were yesterday.. from the min the phone rang.. where I was at.. my ride to work.. my ride STRAIGHT home from work. I remember it was a gloomy day.. even for a city that cannot even smell the smoke of the mess in NYC.
All I can think about watching this are the people who lost there lives and there loved ones today who still ache. It makes me greatful for my husband, my son, and the one on the way and all of my family, friends and loved ones.

Yo! Gabba Gabba?
**Yo Gabba Gabba! is a children's television series created by Christian Jacobs (alias The MC Bat Commander) and Scott Schultz. It is produced by The Magic Store and Wild Brain. It premiered on Nick Jr. and Noggin on August 20, 2007.**
Okay! So, I really want to know who "approves" these shows for air. What process does a "idea" have to go through for someone to say this is crap or this is awesome. I have seen my fair share of brilliant animation and cartoon story line... I particluarly care for the educational ones. I mean lets face it if we are going to let our children watch the TV they should at least learn something , right? So... bring on the Dora, Diego, Backyardigans, Mickey Mouse Club house, Handy Manny ect. But WHO 1. named this show "Yo! Gabba Gabba?" 2. What in the world does it mean 3. Why the man in the funky orange/white suit and snow hat?

My son cannot get enough of this show.. I mean granted I have only seen 2 which are titled "eat" and "Nap" or it might be Sleep. The one we keep watching right now is "Eat" and in case you have not yet seen the show.. let me entertain you.
This is what we get to watch and listen to! I mean I guess if Andrew loves it I can sacrafice my Special Delivery or Bringing home baby? sigh, if I have to. But Can't we watch Mickey Mouse club house instead? All I have to say is WOW!

Cal Vs. Tennessee
I have to say that never in all the games I have been to. I have never been to a game like this. Steven was originally going to take Andrew to this game and I thank my good lord that I insisted on going instead. I thought it would be nice for Steven and I to spend some time together. This was, according to Steven, a "big" game. So, we drove to Richmond and caught the Bart into Berkly because there was NO parking.. and really there was NO parking.. We would have drove around literally hours looking for a place to park. Because it there was at all a place to park, it was taken.
I did not mind so much the walking and so forth, but what I did not realize was that once we got into Berkly it would all pretty much be up hill =(. Not only was I pregnant and sweating.. with no water.
Once we arrive all was well.. perfect spot, sun was behind me going down.. Steven was on his way to get me a hot dog and some waterwhich i felt back about because it took forever the lines were crazy .. and the second he got back.. Mr. Over obsessed Cal fan and Drunken Tennessee fan had at it.. T fan is poking the cal fan's wife taunting her..called her a B****, so she turns around and slaps this guy in the face a couple times.. at the same time her husband, Mr. Over obsessed Cal fan, is yelling at him over it, saying he is going to poke is eye out with his car keys, which he pulls out of his pockets... All the while there is yelling, name calling, finger pointing, I am getting smooshed into Steven at which point I am like Okay "do you mind"? It was getting out of contol. The drunk T fan was moved down by his friends as well as the Mr. Over obsessed Cal fan and his wife. I thought finally!! Peace and quiet! but boy was I wrong! The Cal fan kept looking over at the T fan talking crap to whoever would lisen and egg him on.. the T fan, who was drunk, actually calmed down.. it was the sober one that would not shut up..So, eventually after all was said and done we get these punk A** HS boys and one of the kids dad right behind us. Ghetto as can be, they just jumped right into the slowly starting to calm down mess and would not shut up, talking crap.. if anyone turned around to look at them would make comments like " I am ganna come get my grandma to come kick your ass" to the mother of one of the Ten fan's trying to calm down the drunk guy... most of the people were just trying to keep cool and calm the situation. But they would not shut up! Just commenting about what fans would shout out saying "man sit your stupid ass down" And these guys were RIGHT behind me. It was really out of control. For one this is a college football game , not an NFL...COLLEGE!! and 2 I paid money for these tickets I do not want to hear your ghetto disprespectful mouth all night long comment about people and somehting you were not even here for..
So, this was in addition to our date night to see Halloween, so none the less I was tired of it! I cannot go anywhere and have a peacefule time or evening anymore. And as you can now see I was glad my innocent baby boy was not there to be subject to the ignorance. It would have killed me as a mother to know he had to be witness to that.

Halloween

I felt so spoiled this weekend , and it was much needed. We knew we were going to a game on Saturday but the movie on Friday was not planned. Steven is a fan of horror films or just anything that is disgusting and bloody. Rob Zombie's Halloween came out and well, it was only natural that I would get smuggled to go see it. Never mind we never go see the movies that I want to see =). First of all I cannot stand Rob Zombie.. I think he, like his films, are disgusting, and frankly I do not care to see peole get chooped up, cut open and decapitated regardless of how "fake" it is.
Anyhow, despite all of those things.. the film was okay. Started off a little different than the original Halloween's with the cursing and sex actually that really seemed like all it was .. sex-sex-sex, curse-curse-curse and all that but when it got rolling it was okay. I'd give it 2 stars. It is one you can wait and see on video.
To top it all off..The movie was a full house. And not to be mean or anything but I have never seems so many loud mouthed, disrespectful, people at the movies. You had all these punks walking up and down the isles on there phones. There were people letting there "homies" in the side doors constantly opening em checking if they are there yet.. letting the lights from the parking lot glare in.. it was insane I almost left and asked for my money back. I do not pay 20.00 to see a move to slisten to loud mouth ghetto ass people talk to the movie screen!!!! SHEESH!
All that aside we got there pretty early.. we sat and talked about random things..reminded me of our dating days just us out to a movie .. minus the 6 month old fetus inside my tummy =) But it was great and I appreciated the time with him alone.
