Acrobatics

As Luke is testing the waters of "crawling" he sure gets himself into some silly little positions. Much like an Acrobat. He was showing off his skills today as we were all lounging around. Daddy has not been feeling good and caught whatever I had a couple weeks ago, so we have been low key today. Here are some pics of Luke's stunts if you will.

As a side note: When checking on Andrew during his nap today, rather than sleeping on the bed where I had tucked him in at... This is what we found.

Cujo

I often joke and call Frank by the nick name Cujo, he is just turned into one hell of a monster. He used to be sweet. When we first got him he was our baby. It was just Steven myself and Frank. He went everywhere with us. Literally everywhere. Then came Andrew. Frank got a little more aggressive, Jealous basically. After that we moved from the house Frank was brought home to. This sent Frank thru the roof. He is not the same dog today we brought home 6 years ago...

See Frank go from a sleeping dog to a monster.....

So cute sleeping between daddy's legs, all you can see is his black wet nose...

" Get that camera outta here"

"I'm warning you lady!"

Poor Opie, didn't know what he was getting into when we brought him home.. he is such a free spirit

"wordless Wednesday"

Saw this on a blog "wordless Wednesday" , where they posted a picture that just needed no words. So, here we go:

150th Post: I'm 6 months old!

Here is my 6 month old pic :

I'm getting pretty big. Mama had to put me of that formula stuff because she does not have enough milk to feed me just on nursing. So, not I get 2oz Breast milk and 2oz of formula. I like mama's stuff better, but at least I am still getting some.

I got my first 2 teefers last week, it is kinda hard to see them in the pic because I try and suck and bite on anything that gets close to my mouth.

I am almost crawling. I am inching my way around using the tips of my toes and my knees, somewhat like an army crawl. Mom and Dad think I will be crawling in a few weeks.

My eyes are still Blue ( mama thought they were going to be brown, boy was she wrong ) My hair is still blonder than ever, and is getting thicker.

I have my 6 month check up on Friday so check back on how I am doing..

Love,
Luke

A Sunday walk

We had cousin Emma over Saturday night, she stayed with us most of Sunday. We decided to take a walk, which ended up being a short one because it was warmer than I thought. We stopped off an Aunt Kristie's and Uncle Benji's but they were busy so we were not able to visit. Here are some pics of our short walk.

The backyard is finally coming to a finish. We have some minor details to add, but the grass is in and is looking good!

What a bunch of weenies...

This is Opie. You may remember the feather bed incident? Yep, Opie was responsible for that. Opie does not have a lot of smarts, but he offers a lot of love.

He would also make a good model in a puppy pin up calendar.. What do you think? I wish I had a life of this kind of luxury.

Frank on the other hand has joined an anger management program and is doing his community service at the local senior center. he fits right in with all his gray. ~ lol~ Gotta love em!

More Reno photos

All washed up and ready for bed.

Luke, after hours of trying to get him to bed. He did not sleep well the entire night.

Andrew loves his loaded dice. So much that he wanted to sleep with them

Visiting with Tai

Today was a lovely day. You may remember a few posts ago I mentioned my BFF was coming from Florida to visit. Our "day" is scheduled for Friday, but I did not want to see her just 1 day. So, she came over this morning and hung out until I left for work.
I held off on breakfast until she got there so we could eat together. We made pancakes, scrambled eggs and some strawberries, it was all washed down with milk.

In reference to that, Steven had bought me a griddle, I had been wanting one since we are big pancake eaters. So, I thought I would experiment with it and decided to cook the scrambled eggs on it.

Rule # 1 with cooking on a griddle:NEVER cook anything that can "run" over. -LOL-

I thought for sure it would spread out, it is a pretty long griddle. But I guess the sides are not high enough. Below is the egg that I peeled up after it cooked on the stove top, about half the eggs i beat ended up flowing over.

After breakfast, we cleaned up, talked and played with the kiddies. By this time it was getting that time for me to get ready for work. I took the dogs to the restroom and came back to find.....

Indeed, after 2 years of not seeing her, she had fallen asleep. She is still a little jet lagged. So, I let her rest while I did a few things and took a shower/ got ready for work. Andrew on the other hand could not stand it! He wanted her to take up so bad. But I assured him that she will be staying with us Friday and he can talk her ear off all he wants then. He was sad that she was not going to stay and watch them while I went to work, I had to explain that Tai is not a babysitter -lol-

Stay tuned for more pics of out visit....

Memorial Day ( I know, a little late)

It is probably not work mentioning since we really did not do much. aside from Steven doing the grass that weekend,( that post still to come) we just hung out. Monday Steven had to work, so it was just the kids and I. I wanted to spend most of the day outside, I think we got out late afternoon. Andrew went and got his little neighbor buddy and they played outside for a bit. I sat and talked with Amy, his mommy. The boys did not play outside very long. When I have Luke I really cannot play ball with them as they like. We all made our way into Amy's house to visit play and talk! They invited us for dinner ( which was super yummy, and it was awesome to hang and talk for more than 15 min ) After dinner we all made it outside to let the kids play for a bit.

Side note:
*Wonderful news! She's ( Amy) pregnant! You may remember from a later post, while the house was being built I had mentioned that our neighbor was pregnant too! She was pretty much as far along as I was! I thought it was awesome, she had a little boy who was 5, and she was pregnant too so the babies would be the same age! Unfortunately, Amy had lost the baby (as I learned after meeting her she was having twins).

Sorry no pictures
