With Andrew's craze for The Nightmare Before Christmas it was only appropriate that we take him to see the limited screening in 3D. It was for 3 weeks only, so I made sure we saw it the first weekend before show times began to sell out. It was cool Andrew had NO clue. We did not even tell him we were going to a movie this weekend. We just got up, got ready and went out. We ended at the Greenback lane Century, which used to be known as the Cinedome's. We played stupid acting like we did not know what this was and Daddy mistakenly drove in there..We said we will just go in and look. Andrew was no dummy. Still not knowing what we were there to see, and no Nightmare Before Christmas posters in site made it that much easier and more fun. He made it well known, however, that he knew exactly where we were at. So, as we did our first stop to the potty room, then to get popcorn, hotdog and waters. He spent the whole time discussing with me what we could possibly be here to see, as I told him I had no clue what they were going to be showing.. the excitement on his face was so rewarding as a parent, those big beautiful browns eyes lighting up with excitement and curiosity. He was in charge of the popcorn, his eyes practically fell out of his head into the bad when he looked down into it. I got a medium because we always waste a large ( Steven and I that is) Well, what a mistake that was. I had to tell him not to eat any or attempt to eat the popcorn with his mouth. He stared at the bag the whole time, until we sat down and got the go ahead to enjoy. Would you know, that with the help and Steven and I ( which was honestly not that much) , he practically had the whole bag of popcorn demolished before the movie was over?! i kid you not! Now, this really should be no surprise to me other than the fact that he is only almost 4! His Daddy LOVES Popcorn and Grandpa Tom cannot go into Target without getting his bag. So, clearly, the Popcon craze runs in the family. Another fun part of the movie was the super fun 3D glasses we had to wear. It was not that hard to get Andrew to wear them, poor guy, they were just a little too big *lol* Now, he gets to play with them.. all three pairs =).
He was awesome, with the exception of the talking from excitement he watched the whole movie with no problem!

I took Bianca too... haven't had a change to blog about it or anything else. I sure hope I find some time soon.
Glad to hear that Andrew enjoyed himself, I know we did. I've only seen the movie 100 times.... but it is one of my favorites.... it would have been better if there were more REAL 3D parts.... like in the previews for that one movie... where the water was coming at your EYES... now that was good 3D
