A house of sicko's

Last Saturday when Andrew and I were shopping at the Folsom outlets with my parents I started to get a sore throat. It was funny because the day before that I told Carmen that I had not got my "yearly" Sinus infection that I ALWAYS get. I knocked on wood of course. Some help that was. After shopping Papa took us all out for lunch. Grandma started to not feel so well, she did not even eat her lunch she ordered. I felt bad for her cause you could tell she did not feel so hot. But she toughed it out while we all eat, Andrew being our entertainment of course. I actually think that helped Grandma get through lunch.

That Sunday My dad called and said that they were at the hospital ALL night. Grandma had it coming out all ends if you know what I mean... My friend Chai came to the rescue and watched Andrew for a couple hours until Daddy got off work. It worked out great because she lived right across the street!! As the days progressed so did that little sore throat that I had. Monday I was fevering bad had the chills. I was freezing my ass off at work so bad to the point that it hurt. I tired to schedule some sick time off to rest and go to the Doctors but sure enough that was denied. So, I had no choice but to call in sick and get an incident. I went to the doctors Tuesday morning and oddly enough still do not know exactly what it is... He started telling me that in the near... very near future he sees me needing to sleep with a C-pap. Which my Dad sleeps with because he has a snoring problem and has quit breathing in his sleep. I am not sure what that had to do with the condition that I currently have, however, I know my chest did not sound too good when he was listening to it.I was having pains when I took deep breathes. I believe it was something related to what my mom had, a viral infection. I left there with 4 prescriptions to fill. Only filling 3 of them. Once my insurance would not cover and was sold over the counter anyways, but it was just to break down mucus. I was more concerned with the pain in my chest from my coughing attacks. That is the most horrible pain- ouch! I was almost in tears last night and the night before it was so damn bad. I am feeling about 60% better today. I still get sweat spells trying to do the smallest things. So I have been taking it easy. The doctor has me out through the weekend to rest anyways, I am sure I will be 100% by Sunday. I am sick of laying around the house. -lol- but the rest has been much needed and appreciated. I would never have been able to work like this, I am sure I would have passed out at my desk. Wednesday was the absolute worst of it - I almost passed out twice, and I think it was because Andrew was home with me. He should of gone to Grandma's or something. I was in bed no joke ALL day. I felt horrible just leaving him to play trains and watch Dora, Blue's clues and Bob the builder over and over. He was sure glad to see daddy who gave him some attention =).

Waking up today Andrew was really warm himself. I knew it was going to happen. He is getting sick. He has been real low key today. Resting a lot. He even took an early nap considering he got up some what late. I have been giving him the motrin which seems to break his fever here and there. Steven has 2 sick babies on his hands now. I can only do so much because I am still pretty weak. But I love it when he is sick because he was lots of snuggles and cuddles =). On the other hand it kills me to see him so uncomfortable especially when I know exactly how he feels. I will be keeping an eye on his condition, If he gets worse I will be taking him to see his Dr. because the faster he can heal the better. I do not want him going through the weekend how I was.

We are trying to keep from Daddy getting sick He NEVER gets sick when I do anyways, But he has his trip he has bee planning and is looking very much forward to, I do not want him to have to cancel or go feeling this way, no fun at all. So, lets keep our fingers crossed he has a better immune system then Andrew and I.
