Tuesday Toot meme

This Weeks toot goes out to a special lady, not just special but my Sister n-law. So special, that at times I find it stupid when I say "this is my sister n-law". Because for most people the n-laws are more dreadful than they are enjoyable, and I honestly think of my sister n-law, Leslie, as my sister. I have always thought as my husbands family as my family. They have always included me in everything, even when we were just dating. And are truly wonderful parents. They remind me so much of mine, selfless and will do anything for you. Luckily, the kindness they offer was passed down to their offspring =). Leslie is probably hands down the funniest person I know. I don't think we have ever had a conversation where she hasn't made me laugh. She is just one of those people who you enjoy being around and love to talk to. She's a down girl and loves to have fun and it's such an honor to have her as my sister.

This is Leslie with her daughter, Emma.

While I am unsure Leslie would appreciate me posting this picture in particular =), I felt it's the best picture because it represents the 2 of the things I know she loves most : Emma and running! For some months now, Leslie has been dating Justin. From day one when they started dating it was different. Leslie was different. Even her mom said, there is something different this time, I have never seen her like this. And while it did not take that long for Leslie to feel that Justin might be the one, it did not take long for Justin to feel that way either. On valentines day Justin proposed to Leslie!!! While It is not my place to share personal details in her life, I will just say that if there is anyone I know deserves what Leslie has found, it is her! I am so Happy for you sis, more than words can say. And I know that you and Emma are going to be so happy starting this new life with Justin, I can't wait to get to know him better.

And what I think is the sweetest thing out of this whole thing, is that Justin had asked Emma a couple weeks ago, if it would be alright if he asked her Mom to marry him. How stinking cute is that? I am so proud of her for keeping it a secret. She knew this whole time and did not say a word! Emma said yes btw =).

Visiting with Man and Pop

Luke has been an adventure so far. He has the most temperamental personality! The complete opposite of how his brother was. I am curious to see this guy grow and see if it calms down at all. Anyways, he gets so upset when people try to hold him or talk to him ( Grandparents, friends ect. ) The difference between Luke and Andrew is Luke is a breast feed baby, so maybe the attachment to me right now makes him more clingy than Andrew was. At Emma's party he was really emotional, Grandma tried to hold him and he just cried, then a little while later, his soon to be Godmother ( Aunt Laura) wanted to hold him. She held him on his tummy in her arms and wouldn't you know he was as happy as a clam. Perhaps because I was sitting right there? Grandma Carmen then later got another shot and he was pretty content with her. I think he just needs to get used to see different faces all the time.

Today, Manama and Papa ( my parents ) came over to spend some time with us and to watch Luke & Andrew while I went to work. He was a little emotional at first, but once I feed him and Papa topped him off with the bottle he was completely content and did not mind visiting. Hopefully he did not notice I left and behaved him little self.

As you can see Andrew was thrilled about sharing his time with Luke too!

Luke looks like a little turtle with his neck sticking up like that ~lol~

Conratulations Brother!

I received a call today from my 17 year old brother who probably has never picked up a broom or a mop in his life. He has been pursuing a job at philly cheese steak and they have been kinda giving him the run around a bit, so I just keep telling him to keep following up and stay on it. He gets so discouraged so easily. So last he told me the manager was suppsoed to be giving him a call ( this is what he was told on his last follow up). So they called him today and he finally got the job! After like 2 months of going back and forth. He has to bring in his workers permit tomorrow so they can start to train him. I am so proud! Now he can stop squandering my parents hard earned cash and learn the real value of a dollar.
