Hippity Hop

One of the great things I love so much about my house is the front. We share a rather large grass area with our neighbors. So, I get a call from Amy today, and she tells me without opening the door or making any noise, look out the front. Now, the first thing I was thinking is oh no, what now? With the Gartner snake, Rattle snake, Frogs, skunks, ducks, rats, endless amount of bugs and coyotes I just could not imagine what could be out there.

I was shocked to be greeted by a little baby Jack Rabbit munching on the grass that Steven and Chris ( Amy's husband) are so desperately trying to keep alive. It was the most adorable thing. It hopped all over the place for a bit, before it decided to go into Chris and Amy's back yard.

Steven managed to get a shot from the laundry room window.

Awww, how cute! Isn't it wierd how UGLY they grow up to be? Well, thank Steven for keeping the greens green for the little dude. LOL. I love how you have a great relationship with your neighbors. I have never had that and wish I did!

Aren't they so fun to watch?! We have a family of them that play in our backyard. Anytime we see them come out we stop everything we are doing and just stare out the window. =)
