Catching up

The past few weeks have been rough in more ways than one. From coping with the decision to put the dogs in a new home to the virus that has attached our house. The kids started with runny noses, coughs and sneezes, which seemed to be getting a little better. The runny noses seemed to linger with Luke. Andrew being the first to get sick, Luke, Steven, ( who almost never gets sick and) then Me. The second round was what appeared to be a nasty virus. Which came with fever and vomiting. We were sick all of Spring break. It almost worked out because the weather was too nasty to really do anything. Ironically, the baby appears to be the only one that has not got the virus. I have also noticed that he has not really got the worst of the ickies that come in this house, and I often wonder if me nursing him for 7 months has anything to do with that. I was throwing up within 24 hours of Steven, and that was on Wednesday night, and no sign of the pukies from Luke, which I thank god for that! It was a really relaxing week, only left the house once, and mainly stayed in PJ's. I must admit it was pretty nice.

Thankfully, we all seemed well enough for our Easter holiday. Luke still has a bit of runny nose and Steven is now struggling with some sinus issues. But as long as there is nothing coming out of us, we can deal with the small stuff.

Easter was spent at my Uncle Sam and Aunt Kelly's house. It was my parent's/bro, Steven's parent's, sister, her fiance, Emma, My Grandma and Uncle Kelly. It was a full house, lots to drink and lots to eat. The kids ventured off doing lord knows what. I think the only time I saw all of them together was during the Easter Egg hunt. Luke had fun visiting and playing with Uncle Sam's "cars". Unfortunately, we had to call it a night earlier than we usually would have. We had to get back to get Andrew in bed and ready for school. Break was over and back to school/work we go! We only hope to keep Andrew well enough to finish out his last month and a half / 2 months of school!

Now I'm wondering... do you think the kids caught something at Devin's party?? My brother had his family were sick all last week too! So sorry!
