Tuesday Toot Meme

This is my first time doing Tuesday toot. I felt so good about something that I figured this would be a great time to share it. Steven and I  have decided that we are happy with the round number of 4 and agree that, unless god really really wants us to, we are done having babies. I have been for months and months going thru all the old stuff deciding what to take to  Once upon a child, and what to just give away. After getting my piles in order they have just been sitting in the office, which is really not even an office at this point, a failed project that was supposed to be completed when I was on vacation in December. Anywho, my Grandmother volunteers and a thrift store at a senior center. I usually send my loads her way but I was not sure how useful a load of baby clothes would be at a senior home.  My Grandmother thought these would be better off getting some real good us, as do I. I  just never knew where to take them. She had remembered a few months back an advertisement for a crisis center. Where mothers having hard times can go and take their babies. They are usually people who are less fortunate and have little or next to nothing. When my Grandmother had told me that is where she had decided to take them I was filled with wonderful emotion.  And for more reasons than 1. I am just so pleased that I was able to donate all this stuff. And what is more, my Grandmother said when the lady looked at some of the stuff she was just so thrilled to receive it.  That right there is just what it's all about, to be able to give in a way that the joy of it is simply payment enough. And to think I was just going to give them to Goodwill to either be disposed of or sold?
