Sacramento has some decent places to shop. There are 4 main placed for me that I head to depending upon what I am after.We have Arden Fair Mall, where I worked for years
For some outdoor shopping you can visit the Downtown Plaza
If you want to make the trip you can visit the Roseville Galleria
Last, but certainly not least there is one of my favorite's, the Folsom Outlets

Oh and I LOVE outlet malls. We don't have 'good' ones here...just a few with mish mash shops. I heart shopping! lol
