Luke's 4 month check up

Friday, Luke had his 4 month well baby check up! My LITTLE man weighs 13lbs, 8oz and is 24 inches long. The computer was down so we were not able to compare the growth chart, but Dr. Chang said he can tell he is below average. It's a strange thing to hear when you have your first child who is "off the charts". However, with my average height and Steven's it can really go either way. He may even have a growth spurt later on, who knows?

He cried when he got his 3 shots in his chubby little legs, although he did very well during the day. He was miserable after his 2 month check up, poor guy cried all day long. Any little shift of his legs he squealed. I gave him some Children's Tylenol when we got home so it is possible that just helped him.

We got the go ahead to start Luke on some rice cereal. He made his faces at first and it was a little messy. But I think he will enjoy it once he get the idea to open his mouth for the food. As he gets better and a little more used to this new way of eating we will introduce some of the yummy stuff to him.. Banana's, squash and so on.....
