Fathers Day Weekend

We had a full weekend! It was great, actualy! We started off Friday with some shopping. We went to Sports Chalet and got the boys some new swim gear. Steven a pair of swin trunks and Andrew the cutest pair of black speedo's. I cannot tell you how cute he looks in them. I picked myself up a new pair of Roxy flip flops. They have the best selection and I needed a pair with white straps. After we headed back to the house to get changed up because we went swimming and "uncle Tom's" It is actually Steven's best friend. He has a mini water world in his back yard. They call it "Krug Land" ( See pic below ) I stole it from Tom's girlfriends myspace ( tehe ) It actually looks better than the pic, they have all the flowers filled in by the slide and little Tiki men in between the small slide and the big.. I feel like I am in paradie there.. it is so relaxing.
Anyways, Andrew of course gets fond of people very quickly. Especially people who are steady in our life like good friends and family ( of course ) and since Steven and tom have been friends for god 29 -30 years, I mean it only seems appropriate for Andrew to call him "uncle Tom" lol. We swam for quite a while. long enough for steven and I to get massive sun burns. I mean MASSIVE. Steven's I have to say was much worse, but there was no doubt that we were both in tons of pain. I just itch like crazy now. I put sunscreen on my face, twice, in fact. In the middle of swimming I felt my fave geting hot so I put on a secong layer. Now, why in th world I thought my back was not going to get any sun? Beats the hell out of me...you think I would learn by now with all the severe burns I have had in the past ? Especially now that I have kids and ALWAYS butter them up!

Satruday we had our long time coming yard sale. Once again on a saturday I was not able to sleep in!! Ugh! We had stuff we did not want to take with us to the new house, just old stuff. Clothes, a shelf you know just random stuff. Leslie, Emma and Carmen AND Tom even got in on the action. Oh and we had a few things of Danielle's in there too. I think we ended up making like 40 bucks off it, and I have still yet to sell Andrew's Imaginaruim Train set that I do not want to take to the new house. 1 there will be no room and 2 Andrew did not play with the table, only the train set! I put it on Craigslist so cross your fingers for me. I think any money made on junk that you send to the good will when you are done is successful. That is 40 bucks you would not have had otherwise lol. It was fun though and really relaxing too!

We finished the yard sale about 3, cleaned up and stuff. Since Steven and I had to work sunday, Fathers Day. I wanted to take him to dinner. He did not want to go to a big place, so we went to our favorite Chinese place, Kims! Hmmm. it was yummy!
It was a very fun and quiet evening together. After we eat we headed over to Target to get some Fathers Day cards for our dad's. We picked up some becah towels for our trip this weekend and some water shoes for Andrew too. We headed home after that and relaxed but we were kinda board so we headed to Hollywood to get a movie - Norbit and then to Raley's to get Steven some desert. He picked out some Brownies. Then back to the house we go to be laxy and watch the movie. Steven fell asleep and I went to bed when Norbit was over.

Now, Friday after swimming, we took a very tired Andrew over to my parents. They were going to the Crawdad festival on Saturday and wanted to take him. He, as always, had a blast. My mom and dad really try to do a lot of things with him. But he really ends up running the show. He was gone the whole weekend. My Dad brought his back Sunaday afternoon. So, we had a little break too. I am okay with night 1 but I really start to missing on night 2 =)
